UAE Gratuity Calculator (uaegratuitycalculator.com) is designed to respect your privacy. The core calculator runs entirely in your browser — no salary figures, dates, or personal information are transmitted to or stored on our servers.

2. Information we may collect automatically

Like most websites, our hosting provider may collect standard server logs, which can include:

3. Google Translate

This site offers optional page translation powered by Google Translate. If you use the language selector, your browser communicates with Google's servers. Google's handling of data in this context is governed by the Google Privacy Policy. We do not control or have access to any data processed by Google Translate.

Translation is entirely optional. The calculator works fully in English without activating Google Translate.

4. Cookies and local storage

We use browser localStorage to remember your dark/light mode preference. This is a single key (theme) stored locally on your device. It is not transmitted to any server and contains no personal information.

Google Translate sets a cookie (googtrans) when you select a language. This cookie is used to persist your language preference. It is removed when you reset to English.
